We are currently seeking skilled Pipefitters / Boilermaker Welders to join our team at our Welshpool Workshop. These roles are available on a fixed-term contract basis, working Monday to Friday (day shift only), with consistent and ongoing workshop-based work. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of piping systems and associated components. This opportunity is ideal for tradespeople with pipefitting and pressure welding experience seeking workshop stability, competitive rates, and a variety of challenging projects. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, fit, and weld carbon and stainless-steel pipe systems Read and interpret piping isometric drawings and fabrication sketches Perform high-quality welds using GTAW, GMAW, and MMAW processes Assemble spools, install flanges, and complete hydrostatic testing when required Conduct general fabrication and welding to AS standards Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality requirements Qualifications, Skills & Experience Australian-recognised trade qualification in Boilermaking, Welding, or Pipefitting Competency in GTAW, GMAW, and MMAW welding processes (AS 4041 / AS 1554.1) Demonstrated experience in pipe fabrication and fitting within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments Ability to read and interpret isometric and fabrication drawings Current and valid Australian driver's licence High Risk Work Licence (Forklift and Dogging) highly regarded What We Offer Fixed-term contract opportunities with immediate starts Consistent Monday to Friday workshop hours - no FIFO/site engagement required Exposure to diverse pipe fabrication and welding projects Competitive rates and allowances Stable employment in a WA-owned company with a strong safety culture Who We Are MINPROVISE is a specialist products, engineering and services company providing expert support to the mining, oil & gas, and construction industries.
